I`m currently selling a route, and this is my first time doing so. I bought this route originally from a guy that had bought originally from someone else. I`ve since built a route in a different area closer to home. Long and short, when I originally bought this route some four years ago a handful of clients were on the fence and were upset that they were sold to me "Again" and were not going to go through this anymore. Long and short I nolonger can service these pool efficiently from a logistical point of view and must sell. I`ve always taken really good care of these clients and always exceeded their expectations and earned their trust.
How do I ensure a smooth transition with the buyer of my route with this small batch of clients that may not want to be sold.....dare I say possibly the 3rd or 4th time to someone else. Some of these clients thought when I bought their account some four years ago that this must be some sort of Pool Guy scam to sell off clients. I assured them this was not the case. Now I`m on the selling side and want to ensure a smooth transition. Any thoughts or experiences welcomed.

Sell accounts
The way to look at is that they can’t expect you to service their pools for ever and at some point there will be a change in service provider and really your just ensuring that at that time your actually ensuring that they have a new competent pool service company.
There is a template on here

that you could use to notify your customers and you don’t have to mention that they have been sold just that there is a new service provider.
