The price to pay for a product or service will depend on the level of quality you are looking for. In most cases, we cannot deny the fact that we are looking for the cheapest ones in the market today. However, if we look forward, another dilemma is in the works; just how good will that commodity or service really be.
For sure, a drop in price means a drop in quality. Nothing in the world is free and everything has a price in the world of business. While discounts and bargains point towards either an initial public offering to build on brand image and product awareness or overstocked items, it remains that people should be careful when certain products or services are offered at lower than the average cost.
This seems to be a mentality that we have inherited yet tend to step back once we find them. We have our hunches and our concerns once we are there. While many deem it as something fishy or peculiar, our initial agenda of looking for them suddenly fades away. Why is that?
It all boils down to the psychological aspect of consumer buying behavior. We love to hear affordable, if not bargain prices, but will have our doubts. Such is the trend we see in consumers today. Everyone wants to get the best deal in all aspects. In this case, it is about cost and quality.
